On Thursday, January 22, 2026, the Adair County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle crash, about 9 miles out KY 704.
Joseph R. Wood, age 69, of Campbellsville was operating a 2012 Peterbilt semi-truck pulling a trailer, dropped off the shoulder of roadway and overturned.
Wood was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries by private vehicle.
Accident is being investigated by Deputy Hunter Tweedy, assisted by Deputy Derek Padgett, CAVFD, and Adair County Emergency Management.
