Sheriff’s Office Arrests Adair County Man On Felony Drug Charges, Outstanding Warrant

On Friday, May 10th, 2024 at 12:52 a.m., Adair County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Josh Durbin observed Richard Hunter, 47, outside of a garage and had knowledge of an outstanding warrant of arrest out of Wayne County.

Upon contact and placing Hunter into custody, he was found to have suspected methamphetamine on his person.

Hunter was arrested and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on an Outstanding Warrant of Arrest and Possession of a Controlled Substance (1st degree Methamphetamine).

The case remains under investigation by the Adair County Sheriff’s Office.
